Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Budgeting is a fundamental aspect of event planning, serving as a roadmap for resource allocation, cost control, and financial management. In Kano Municipal Local Government Area, the success of events often hinges on effective budgeting practices. A well-planned budget ensures that resources are utilized efficiently, minimizing financial risks and maximizing event outcomes.
